Introduction: The irregularity of prenatal consultations seems worrying to meet the challenge of reproductive health in Côte d'Ivoire. It has because even clear today that the number of antenatal visits below four recommended visits has increased. This observation was also done in the Ebrié village of Bimbresso. Thus, this perspective of socio-anthropological research was initiated in order to determine the obstacles of the regular monitoring of prenatal consultations both at the health center and from the behavior of the users. Methodology: Qualitative and quantitative surveys were conducted with Ebrié women from Bimbresso who received or are receiving prenatal care at the health center. Data about dysfunctions of prenatal consultations offices and behaviors in conflict with prenatal consultations were obtained from planned behavior and reasoned action analyzes. Results: The influence of adverse factors on regular prenatal follow-up include: poor interpersonal relationships between caregivers and pregnant women, lack of medical equipment, the idea of having only a maternity card and idea of drastically reducing pregnancy expenses and finally, the reluctance and lack of decision-making power of women. Discussion: It is in the light of these deficiencies that actions in favor of the skills of caregivers, availability open to the participation of users and the awakening of community awareness, are defined and conducted for the effectiveness of regular prenatal consultations and the effectiveness of pregnancy experience within Ebrié population of Bimbresso.
