Sun Tzu was a Chinese military strategist best known for his work The Art of War. His military treatise is one of the oldest and has been used not only in Ancient China but in many parts of the world. In order to find whether contemporary Chinese military strategies under Xi Jinping are influenced by Sun Tzu’s philosophies or not. The paper seeks to analyses Sun Tzu and China’s military strategies while drawing an analogy for the same.
