Women empowerment to achieve sustainable development goal

Abstract
Empowerment of women and girls is to be evaluated based on the sustainable development. Sustainable development may
varies on an equitable distribution of resources and it cannot be obtained
without gender equality. Gender equality is intrinsically connected to
sustainable development and is vital to the observation of human rights for
all. The main purpose of gender equality in a society that women and men can
participate & celebrate the same occasions, rights and obligations in all
spheres of life. The objectives of the paper are to study the importance of
women empowerment for sustainable development, the study adopted the review of
secondary data and information in exploring gender issues matters within and
across the facets of sustainable development. For Empowering the women and
girls by investing (in all its ramifications), supporting their specific needs
as entrepreneurs, workers, home-based consumers, producers, drivers of
low-emission climate-resilient economies, and instituting sustainable
development framework that faced the discriminatory social norms and practices
will promote gender equality and obtain development that is more sustainable.
The study provides appropriate knowledge in the fields of gender studies,
environment, and sustainable development where furtherance of gender-responsive
policy focus, planning and implementation is the major thrust.
